The children had a special visit from Digi-Dog this week who has been helping them to stay safe when using the internet.
The children made their pledges for keeping safe on the internet. We joined all the pieces together to show how we can work together to make the internet a safer place for everyone.
The children created a collage of their own digital footprints as part of e-safety week.
The children have been practising drawing different lines and shades with their pencils during art week.
The children have been looking at the work of sculptor Brendan Jamison. They then designed their own sculptures before making them out of sugar cubes.
Class 2R have been learning about algorithms to control A.L.E.X the robot in their computing lessons.
In science the children have been investigating to see which cloth is the best at absorbing water. The children recorded their results in tables and made bar charts of their results.
The children visited the Walker Art gallery today to explore some of the many paintings and sculptures in there. The children took part in a workshop on contemporary art and had great fun trying to draw a portrait of their partner whilst balancing the paper on top of their head. They even got the chance to dress up too!
