Welcome to Raindrops!

Raindrops takes place every Tuesday 9-11am in our school hall. The sessions are available to all families in the local community.
The playgroup is a welcoming, safe and fun place to be for children from birth to school age.

It is run by members of our school team:

Mrs Walsh (Assistant Head/EYFS lead)
Mrs Rawnsley (Inclusion Manager)
Mrs Crowther (Supervisory Assistant)

Mrs Loftus our Headteacher often visits us and is always available to support our families. Mrs Rawnsley our Inclusion manager is also on hand to offer advice and guidance to families who have worries and concerns about their child's development.

The playgroup is a wonderful opportunity to join if St Matthew's will be a school you will be considering in the future. It enables the children to become familiar with our setting and practitioners and provides a much smoother transition from pre-school to full time education. The group also ensures that we are able to establish more effective relationships with our families at the very earliest stages.
