40 acts of kindness
Remember Lent is still continuing so keep on trying to complete as many of these acts of kindness as you can. Can you be creative and change a few so that they're possible from home?

In Science this half term we are looking at changing materials and how this can change their properties and usefulness. This can be tested at home by, for example investigating how materials like water, chocolate or dough change with increased heat or coldness. See if you can try some home cooking with your family! Could you make cookies or bread and see how the dough changes? Maybe try to make rice krispie cakes and watch the chocolate melt and then change back to a solid again.

In English this half term we are looking older literature and focusing on ‘The Secret Garden’ and will be writing our own setting descriptions for our own secret gardens.

The skills we are focussing on in writing are:-

-          Using the past tense carefully and accurately

-          Including relative clauses in our work to add detail

-          Adding noun phrases to create atmosphere and further description

-          Using a full range of punctuation correctly (full stops, capital letters, exclamation marks, question marks, colons and inverted commas)

Joe Wicks has announced that he is showing online PE lessons to help keep children fit and healthy during the school closure. These will be live on Youtube every morning at 9:00am. If you can't make it live, they'll be available to watch as a video later on. It's called 'PE with Joe'.

It's much tougher than you would think. Can you challenge your parents to join in with you? Who's can keep up with Joe the longest?

Fancy something different?

RE - Holy Week
Hi everyone! As we come to the end of Holy Week, here's a little PDF of some tasks and ideas that you might want to complete.
Even though churches are closed, take a moment this Sunday to remember the meaning of the day and the sacrifice Jesus made for us.
I hope you are all well
Mr Greaves
Here's a really nice little comprehension to have a look through. Some very challenging questions but hard work is good remember - it's like a mini brain workout!
If you'd like to take a photo of your answers to write them down on Dojo, I'd love to see what you've written!
